FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I am currently offering FREE SHIPPING to all UK mainland deliveries for Original Paintings and Fine Art prints.

    For International shipping I will promptly contact you with a quote for delivery costs, once you have placed your order.

    If you prefer, you can contact me prior to placing the order and I would be happy to provide a quote for the shipping costs.

    If the shipping costs are unacceptable then I would be happy to cancel the order and issue a refund. If you do not confirm acceptance of the quoted shipping costs within 7 days (or if I do not receive payment for delivery within 7 days following your acceptance) I reserve the right to cancel the order.

  • It will normally taken between 3 and 5 working days to process your order and to pack and ship original paintings.

    Please allow 1-2 weeks for Fine art prints, as these are printed to order although could be with you much sooner if that item is in stock.

    Your order will be shipped via Royal Mail or courier service. I will send it tracked and signed for, where available.

  • Yes but please read the section above regarding shipping costs. Please note that you will be responsible for paying all duties, taxes and other fees levied outside of the UK. Furthermore, where shipping costs are agreed with you after order placement, I will not ship until I have received payment for the agreed costs from you.

  • You will receive an e-mail informing you that the order has shipped. If you have any concerns regarding shipping, feel free to contact me.

  • Yes, you will receive a tracking number to track your order when you receive your confirmation of shipping email.

    Please note - orders under £50 are not tracked.

  • You are welcome to view and collect artwork from my studio . Please contact me if you would like to do this

  • Items can be returned if they are damaged or incorrect . I will refund the cost of the item and the shipping costs as long as the items are returned within 30 days, are unused and are in the original packaging (unless that packaging is damaged in which case the items should be packed in a manner that will ensure they are safely shipped back to me). Before returning any items, please contact me at jane@janejohansson.com so that we can discuss any issues and hopefully find a solution.

    If the items are not damaged or incorrect but you decide that you no longer want them, then I accept returns as long as you email me within 14 days of receiving the items and then return the items in their original packaging within 14 days following the date of your email. Following receipt of the item I will refund the price for the item (but not the shipping costs). I can only provide a refund if the items are unused and undamaged upon their return.

    Where you are eligible for a refund, I will credit the card which you used to purchase the items.

    Please note that I do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods.

    Nothing affects your statutory rights.

  • If you would like to purchase an original painting over £500 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting . The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this.

  • Yes, all paintings will come with picture wire/hanging baton already fixed and ready to hang. All you need to do is to decide where!

  • Most of my paintings are sold framed and the detail will be on each product description .

    Larger work on cradled wood panels have a sleek subframe with a depth of 5cm and can be hung unframed - many people prefer this more contemporary look and it means it can be shipped without costing you more. Equally you can take it to the framers and decide on a style that suits you best.

    Please contact me if you would like bespoke advice or have any further questions – framing can be an art in itself!
